Yes! Our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru rightly said that the children of today will make the country of tomorrow.
By the way, importantly today (November 14th) is the very auspicious day for children because it’s Children’s Day. We celebrate the day on the occasion of our beloved Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday.
Nehru fondly called Chachaji is very fascinated about children and his deep bonding with them is exceptional. The following quote he said on an occasion (while serving as a PM) summarizes his everlasting love towards the children.
“I may not have time for adults, but I have enough time for children.“
Of course, Jawaharlal Nehru’s unmatched love and remarkable ideas on childhood can’t be summarized in one or couple of quotes. So we are adding the few more quotes in the remembrance of his birth anniversary.
- Failure comes only when we forget our ideals and objectives and principles.
- Facts are facts and will not disappear on account of your likes.
- Ignorance is always afraid of change
- Time is not measured by the passing years but by what one does, what one feels and what one achieves.
- Children do not think of differences amongst themselves, a difference of class or caste or color or status.
Jawaharlal Nehru is more concerned about children performance in and out of the home and school as they are the future of India. Every child acts as a building block to build a strong nation. One should not underestimate their power and forget not that a small hole is enough to sink a large ship.
But, are the students of 21st century are in right hands? It is the constant question creeping into everyone’s mind. Because excess information, technology, and pressure transforming their fertile minds into an infertile place to cultivate knowledge and creativity.
The way we (Parents and Teachers) bring them up will determine the future of their career and the nation as well. We are proud to inform parents of GreenOaks that your child is in safe and right hands.
